It represents the ideal of a perfect suburbia with its winding streets and linear parks and is anchored by the Druid Hills Golf Club. Children attend both Dekalb and Fulton County schools and highly acclaimed private schools include Paideia and The Howard School.

Inman Park is located two miles east of downtown Atlanta and was Atlanta’s first planned community and developed as a garden suburb. Lake Claire features a mixture of home styles among mature trees, open space and gardens. Candler Park, named for Asa G. Candler, founder of the Coca-Cola Company, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Cabbagetown, Atlanta’s oldest industrial settlement, was founded in 1885 as a place for the Fulton Bag and Cotton Mill workers to live. Today, the neighborhood is revitalized and home to a diverse and eclectic population. Poncey-Highland, home of the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum and Freedom Park, is a diverse urban neighborhood.
